Application

  • It is most commonly used as thermal energy Stabilizer in polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It also acts as Lewis acid catalysts for the transesterification and esterification reaction. Furthermore, Zinc acetylacetonate (ZnA) can be anchored on amine functionalized magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4/NH2) for the preparation of magnetically retrievable ZnA-Fe3O4/NH2 catalyst in the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine compounds.
